Our History

Letter to visitors

Few companies in this field can boast this must experience, and while on reflection it may be impressive, it is really just the result of loving what we do. We are lucky enough to combine the fun of design with technology that is always challenging us with new innovation.

Throughout this we have stuck to core values of quality and use ability while maintaining focus on the one big thing – the sale of new projects. Nothing we do should ever get in the way of that one overriding goal, because no sales means we are all out of business.

2020

New Technology

The coming years have some very exciting new technology coming out, mostly in the avenue of the buyer’s experience. We have made it to photographic quality not just in renderings but in our videos, but now we are working towards delivering that same quality in real time. While there are plenty of real time solutions out there, and a few people that have got their toes wet with it already, none have reached the level of quality to match our current standard. 2020 to 2022 is going to see us bridge that gap, just as we did with motion video years earlier.

Our interior decor has become world class, carrying many projects through the sales process and garnering attention from buyers, sellers and the entire design industry.

2020

New Technology

2015

Our Bump in Quality

It became clear that the biggest bottleneck in real estate projects was getting the theme and decor right at a time when the interior designers were years away from being ready, so we took over the interior decor for condos and certain amenities built into our service, streamlining the process significantly and upping the whole game for final design presentation.

At this time we also moved to a new unbiased render technology which not only yields better quality but allows clients to see their projects develop in almost real time. It also means that while we design we get instant photo quality feedback from the system, allowing us to spend more time on the fun stuff and less time waiting.

Drones and new location hardware came into play and we expanded on how we go about site photography and what we can offer in the same package. No more helicopters were needed so we could extend photoshoots to multiple days and at almost any height, significantly improving what we have to work with on a project and the breadth of deliverables we can produce.

The global recession years lead us to diversify slightly and devise new ways to service clients, one of those being to bring back the design aspect of the business to assist those clients that need a quick presentation of broad ideas in order to move forward.

Social media exploded into reality and changed the face of public relations and marketing, so newer methods of delivery we being constantly devised

2010

A strong global economy with an appetite for real estate made Arciform 3D an international force in 3D, going full swing into the USA, Middle East and Gulf regions. A strong presence was made in Florida, leading to our shift to being North American based.

During this time many large real estate, broadcasting and marketing clients were obtained forming long term relationships.

A strong global economy with an appetite for real estate made Arciform 3D an international force in 3D, going full swing into the USA, Middle East and Gulf regions. A strong presence was made in Florida, leading to our shift to being North American based.

Archiform’s Expansion

The unique aspects of how we went about things attracted Endeavour Prize Homes, in Australia, to our client list and the full spectrum of what we did was utilised including design, full building analysis and the virtual staging of each property to ensure that it looked fantastic before we built.

This lead to the first purely 3D prize home, which occured when a shortfall of available properties was encountered and we needed to move quickly to produce a marketable property.

The “Solaris” project came to be – a self sufficient, energy efficient, solar powered home that utilised all of our technology in design, analysis and presentation.

All of this lead us to shift strongly towards marketing and expanding into other countries.

1995

3D is Born

We moved into true 3D environments for design, which was a big success and set a new standard for client presentation and interaction – something still ahead of many companies today. We were producing 3D renderings on every project and on some we even produced 3D animation.

Getting behind the technology we invented a new line of parametric, intelligent objects for architectural CAD that streamlined the process, many still used today.

Being one of the few that obtained this newfound knowledge and developed the techniques we became part of the learning process for young architects and assisted many major architectural firms switch to modern technology. 

The unique approach to design garnered so much attention that Steve became the guest speaker at many events and had many TV appearances.
